Little App Launches NFC Payment Feature in Partnership with Absa Bank Kenya and Visa

Little App, a Pan-African ride-hailing and delivery app, has partnered with Absa Bank Kenya PLC and Visa to launch an innovative Near Field Communication (NFC) payment feature. The feature will allow Little App drivers to accept card-based payments using an Android smartphone, offering enhanced efficiency for both customers and drivers.

The NFC payment feature is a significant development for the ride-hailing industry in Africa. It will make it easier and faster for customers to pay for their rides, and it will save drivers the hassle of carrying cash. The feature is also more secure than traditional cash payments, as it uses Visa’s cutting-edge security technology.

To use the NFC payment feature, customers simply tap their contactless debit or credit card on the driver’s Android phone or tablet. The payment will be processed instantly, and the customer will receive a confirmation on their Little App.

The NFC payment feature is available to all Little App drivers in Kenya. To use the feature, drivers need to download the Absa Mobi Tap app on their Android smartphone. The NFC payment features offers the Pros such as  Convenience: Customers can pay for their rides quickly and easily, without having to worry about carrying cash, Efficiency: Drivers can save time and hassle by accepting card payments, Security: The NFC payment feature is more secure than traditional cash payments, as it uses Visa’s cutting-edge security technology.
